Courtland Street Sidewalks

Project Overview

The Atlanta Downtown Improvement District (ADID) installed

new sidewalk along the west side of Courtland Street between Renaissance Parkway and Currier Street. Sidewalk was added in areas where it previously did not exist. In other locations, the sidewalk was widened to create a safer, more pleasant experience for pedestrians.

The project also included stormwater mitigation tactics to reduce the volume of stormwater runoff experienced at low elevations along the corridor.
