Growing Downtown Neighborhoods
The conversion of underutilized office buildings into new residential units offers an opportunity to increase Downtown’s housing stock while strengthening the office market. Downtown Atlanta, Inc. commissioned the Downtown Office-to-Residential Conversion Feasibility Study (2019) to better understand the feasibility and potential of adaptive reuse in Downtown.

Activating Ground Floors
Active, occupied retail storefronts are a critical component of the walkable, safe and engaging street environment we are focused on delivering in the city center. The Downtown Pop-Up Opportunity Fund provides grants to landlords or businesses seeking to open new businesses.
