Sarah Lawrence Designs a Crosswalk that Honors Atlanta's Global Legacy

Artist Sarah Lawrence transformed the intersection of Andrew Young International Boulevard and Peachtree Street into a tribute to the people, places, and moments that shaped Downtown Atlanta.

And at the four corners of the intersection, near the curb ramps, you can find a detail inspired by the roof of the  Polaris restaurant. 

I think we can all agree that this beautiful artwork makes a massive difference to the look and feel of one of the busiest streets in Atlanta.
