Project Overview

The South Downtown Transportation Plan (2023) reaffirmed the need to implement two-way operations on Ted Turner Drive between M.L. King Jr. Dr. and Williams Street. The two-way operations will improve the safety of the street, optimize the Downtown grid, and support special events circulation. The current scoping study, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024, is exploring the impacts of the two-way conversion. 

Public Info Session Presentation 

On September 25, 2024, CAP/ADID hosted a virtual public meeting about the two-way conversion of Ted Turner Drive between M.L. King Jr. Drive and Williams Street. The presentation from the meeting is available here.
