Programs That Illuminate Downtown

Downtown Atlanta should feel alive—with creativity, energy, and unexpected moments of joy. Downtown Atlanta Inc.'s Art & Activation program helps make that vision real. We produce public art and community programming that transforms streets, parks, and storefronts into engaging, people-centered places. Beginning with the Digital Art Program on Atlanta Arts & Entertainment District signage in 2020, programming has grown to include an array of public art installations, live performances, and placemaking initiatives. The Art & Activation Program has funded 125+ creative projects, presented 200+ artworks, supported 250+ artists, and sponsors two annual artist residency programs, shaping a district that truly reflects Atlanta’s talent and diversity.
